In a superb display of running rugby the team ran out 59-13 winners. All the boys played well but the back row of Rhys Roberts, Finn Quick and Sion Griffiths played partically well. With backs and forwards interlinking and outside half Dan Slattery running the game 9 tries were scored with 7 converted. The game started with Ammanford on the front foot attacking Pontarddulais from all areas and this carried on for the whole of the first half. Ammanford went into the break leading 40-8. The second half was more even with Pontarddulais having a greater share of the ball however the boys defended well limiting them to one try with Ammanford scoring 3 second half tries. Overall an excellent game of rugby.
