builth

In a game played in filthy conditions both teams attempted to play rugby when a snorkel was probably more needed that a scrum cap.  Builth kicked off and Ammanford built phase play up the pitch with the forwards carrying well and off loading.  The backs then ran the ball and Joe Parkin scored a try in the corner.  Ammanford continued to play good rugby and in a physical encounter Ammanford again broke and from a neat kick by outside half Rhys Tench, Levi Gape gathered the ball and went over in the corner to make the score 10-0 to the home side.  Builth continued to drive through their big pack but Ammanford defended well and then gathered the ball again with the forwards carrying weel and releasing the backs where Carwyn Morris broke a number of tackles to score the third try which he also converted. Half time came and with the conditions worsening Builth asked for the game to be abandoned which the ref agreed to.
